StatusBlue
StatusBlue, a VPS impression material suitable for all situations, combines the advantages of VPS with the properties of alginates. It offers the positive features of alginate, such as short intraoral setting time, hydrophilicity, and easy removal, along with the outstanding properties of VPS, including highly detailed impressions, elastic recovery, and dimensional stability. Its smooth surface makes it ideal for creating temporary restorations, minimizing polishing and providing precise models.
In a clinical evaluation conducted by the U.S. research publication THE DENTAL ADVISOR, StatusBlue received a 5+* rating—the highest possible score. This strongly confirms the superior product properties of this VPS impression material.

Thanks to its excellent dimensional stability, StatusBlue impressions do not shrink or expand, and unlike alginates, they do not need to be poured immediately. They can be stored for extended periods. Even after several weeks, the impression accurately reflects the patient’s oral condition, ensuring precise fitting of temporary restorations. Its stability allows multiple pours, eliminating the need for repeated impressions in cases such as a temporary restoration fracture, saving both time and money.

While alginates still require time-consuming manual mixing, StatusBlue can be mixed quickly, automatically, and precisely using the 50 ml or 380 ml cartridges. The material is homogeneous, dust- and bubble-free, and can be applied directly to the tray, ensuring accurate and clean processing. StatusBlue in the 50 ml Automix cartridge can be used with the same delivery system as Luxatemp (DMG), streamlining the workflow and daily practice.
